To All,
The Hidden Hollow Star Party will be held this weekend at Warren Rupp Observatory, near Mansfield, OH. More info here:
http://www.wro.org/hiddenhollow07.html
Headliners include Phil Harrington and Brent Archinal. If--IF--we get clear skies, the 31" f/7 Warren Rupp telescope will get a workout.
Weather prospects are questionable at this point. We'll have a slow-moving low-pressure system somewhere over the N.E. United States over the weekend; it's a matter of when it moves out.
Anyone heading out there this weekend? I'm hoping to run into a few CN'ers while I'm out there.
Clear Skies, Phil

Maybe. Depends on the weather.

I hope everyone bundles up. It should be chilly, with lows in the 40s and 30s (!).
The weather forecast at this point is...ugh. The latest computer model runs are agreeing on a solution that's NOT good news. Hopefully it'll change, or we're looking at consistent 15-20 mph winds, clouds, and chilly temps.
Clear (oh, please, oh please, oh pleeeeeease) Skies, Phil

Update...still not looking good weather-wise! Oh, well. Phil Harrington and Brent Archinal will be there. Hopefully I see some CN'ers there, too.

Hi Phil. Maybe we'll bring a couple van loads up to tour the 31!

Scott,
Looks you guys had a blast at LCSP. I would have made it there if it weren't for Hidden Hollow.
Hidden Hollow 2007 was an absolute blast. The weather cooperated when it really mattered, and Phil Harrington delivered yet another epic presentation. I'll have some pictures up in the next few days in a re-cap post on a new thread.

Looking forward to the pics Phil!
Except for about 45 minutes on Saturday night there was sky all weekend. CSC, TWC were just a bit off on that one!
