Hey Chris, don't scrap the list; swap that long wiggly pole of scope with aome real aperture; a C11 would do nicely on that Atlas!

I could never spell it so I gave up on it.

Sounds like I'll bring the Pronto and its' mount for a backup.

Jim; I found four fuses, two critical ones, to darken the Edge and all those fancy lights. I'm stoked!

Kevin, I'll be there both nights. That "other A-P" is merely a reference to an April Fool joke I posted on some other site, sadly.

Good find, Ron. My interior light fuse in the truck is on the same circuit as the fuel injection! If the fuse is removed, dealer says the computer goes south and he'll be glad to fix it for more money than I want to think about. And my silly dome light is sealed! The owners manual claims "lifetime" interior lights which can only be accessed by a dealer. But if I leave a door open for 10 minutes or so, the light goes out and won't return unless the door is closed or the key is inserted. So I usually go all weekend with the doors open.

Finishing pack and load. Want to be on the road by 2:30, get there around 4-ish.

Windy... Well, that might help explain the poor seeing forcast for Saturday night.

This may be the year I finally need to clean the mirror.

Actually, on checking the forcast for the site, just now, it seems they've backed off from the wind. It's showing 5-15 mph. Could still get a bit gusty, but I can live with it.

It looked a bit hazy at 7:30PM from Scottsdale. I hope everyone down there gets nice clear skies! I'm getting all of my batteries charged tonight and will get all my stuff together tomorrow to go. I'm looking forward to it! I kind of doubt I'll pull an all nighter like I did last year. Even 2 or 3 hours of sleep makes a huge difference to the next day.

I am reading with envy. It is 7.30 (yet to get dark) in the evening here and as I type, I am looking out of the window at a cloudy sky. *Sigh*

Not a cloud in the sky. 83F here in Scottsdale. A little breezy. I'm almost all packed and ready to head out. Fun fun fun!

Last night was great. I personally bagged 107 objects with my observing partners. Mainly using my 10" XTi for most objects but the Virgo cluster objects were found with a
C-14 and wide field and double stars were taken down with the NP-127is.
