I had some of the nicest skies this past weekend. Excellent transparency and reasonably good seeing. After the moon set, I imaged several DSO's. One was M1, the Crab Nebula:

WOW this is amazing. I can't believe the detail that you captured. I imaged this last night but haven't processed yet. If it turns out even quarter as good I'd be so happy.

Very nice indeed!
Compaired to the rather dull, grey blob that I see when I observe The Crab, it is nice to see what it looks like in all its glory.

Exceptional, Mike. This surpasses last year's (in which you compared it to a HST M1).

Thanks, everyone!
Tom, you might be right. I had drizzled the subs for that previous image, so it came out twice the size, which I liked. I might do the same for this one and see how it comes out.
In the meantime, I tried R/L deconvolution on it and pushed it harder with wavelets and sharpening. I blended that into the original and came out with this enhancement:

What ya'll think? Better or worse?

Thank you, Don. Glad you and everyone else seemed to like it.
Well, I did do the drizzle processing route. It did not come out too bad, I think. I used all 42 subs and let IRIS scale it 2x during the process. Here is an 800x600 crop at 100% scaling:

Holy cow! That's awesome.
Good thing there's no swearing allowed on CN, 'cause when I saw your image I said something that caused looks from my co-workers.
