Free, ready-made CAD models of Spherical Rod Ends new
      #1791481 - 08/21/07 04:07 PM

Aurora Bearing's web site has CAD models of their entire product line available for download.

Simply specify the Neutral File Format preferred and the software you are using (AutoCAD, Solidworks, etc) and then browse for the size, thread type, and type of threaded end (M/F) and let 'er rip!

I will contact them directly to see if CAD Models for the product line are available on a CD ROM.

Aurora Spherical Rod End CAD download page

This page takes you directly to the web site. You merely select the hole for the bolt size you wish to use and it forms the CAD model.

You can D/L it tailored for any number of CAD packages.

First will nr askrf to format the page so they know which one you want.

From start to finish, it took me but ten minutes to D/L the half dozen I use most often.

Reidtool.com also supplies cad models of the products they sell. They have a good selection of knobs and levers.
