Gotta bring along some pamphlets to pass out or something so you can write off the whole trip as a business expense.

I'll be coming down to the WSP2008. My personal thanks to John Gillies for one of his tickets... (even though it saddens me that he won't make it this year)(hopefully we'll meet down there for the 2009 WSP)

I'll be staying at the Methodist Church parking lot the night before the WSP opens... hoping to get a clear night and an early start to observing down at the Keys.

This time I'll be bringing my portable imaging setup, instead of the large SCT. We'll see you all down there!

Clear skies to all!

Here is a forecast I found for 15 days in advance for Key West. It goes through Thursday of the week we are there. Notice that Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of the week we are there, the forecast is zero percent chance of rain and sunny. The wind is not calm, but the temperatures are near 80 in the day and near 70 at night. At least this long range extended forecast does not show an arctic front barreling through.

Hi Ivan,

I'm bringing all of it, well it just seems that way as I started to organize and sort tonight.

I will image with the C9.25, and Epsilon 160, on the AP1200. And I will bring the 12" Lightbridge to play around with while imaging.

See you in the parking lot. We have been invited to dinner at the Parrodise Rest at 7:30 so we will drop the trailer off and leave but will not be gone long. Look for us.

We're heading out Saturday and will get there noonish on Monday. We're planning on heading back North early Thursday though if the shuttle launch goes as scheduled.

Sounds fun Ivan. I'm hoping the weather holds, and you enjoy the best WSP ever. If it's not to much to ask....You will be posting some of your images right???

Good luck.

I hope everyone has a good time and look forward to seeing pics! (Images *and* pics of the setups, people, etc. )

Scott, that's a great idea about being able to see the shuttle launch if it goes as scheduled, I hope it works out even if it does mean leaving WSP early!

Don saw a launch back in 86 but John and I have never witnessed it so we're keeping our fingers crossed.

Darned, I can't make it this year. I didn't think I'd miss it, but the Keys sound like a nice place to be just about now.

Hey, all of you going to WSP are going to miss the party of the year in Punxsutawney!

Anybody at WSP logging in? We're camped next to the little boat on the beach.
Little breezy last night aay? Not a total wash though.
