Orion Nebula from Nexstar 6SE new
      #2028128 - 12/04/07 05:05 PM

My first crack at photographing the sky from the light polluted city of London.

22x15s subs @ various ISO
4x20s subs @ various ISO
1x25s sub @ ISO800
Canon 350D unmodded
Nexstar 6SE Alt-Az 0.63 focal reducer
DSLRFocus
Stacking & Processing in MaxIm DL
Further processing in Lightroom
I couldn't get more than 20s sub due to field rotation (M42 was low and close to Meridian)

Nice image of the M42 core, It's orders of magnitude better than my first M42 image.

Thank you!
I might try to add more data to it tonight. But I'm pretty happy with the outcome from 6m exposure time from a light polluted area.

Don't suggest that! We've all got enough competition as it is!
