Lots of interesting stuff on the Sol today. Some nice proms and the two active regions. Sorry about the burn out on 977. Just too bright in the core.

I pick up my PST tomorrow at the post office and am getting anxious to see some solar (of course, we are in the middle of an Alberta clipper snow system right now; I thought that only worked with clouds and a new non-solar scope purchase.)
Nice pictures, hope I can see some views like that first hand.
Thanks,
Gary

Hi Paul,

About your burnt out view of '977 : You might want to take a look at the last 6 hrs flux plot and see if the time stamp on your avi coincides with an elevated flux level. It's just a suggestion, but you might want to annotate your solar images with a UT date / time, then they'd be more useful.

No sun here, but we're finally getting some much needed rain
