The low down on AR10978
      #2034573 - 12/07/07 08:02 AM

Actually that should be AR10978 low down! The Sun's altitude was only 15 degrees when this image was taken and the seeing was poor. This is AR10978 taken through a Coronado CaK scope. Quite a nice spot complex, making a welcome change from a bland disk.

Very nice, Pete. I should have about 15 minutes to see the sun between the neighboring houses... if it ever clears up!

best,
Alan

I know the feeling. I was muttering to myself this morning as branches from a neighbouring hedge were flapping in front of the Sun's disk. Thanks for the comments chaps.
