hello friends,
This is a composite picture made up of OneShotColor RGB and Ha. I took the RGB in 9-25-06, and the HA on 12-08-07. The Ha was added at about 50% to the Red channel and about 80% to the lum channel.

1 hour of color and 3 hours of HA
comments are always appreciated

Well done, Bud! How do you keep the image looking so natural? Surely it's not as simple as just adding layers and applying them to red and luminance channels.

Thanks guys for responding,
Jared, it really depends on the object....I always process both the color and Ha to the best of my ability....I then will add a percentage to the Red channel..in the RGB mode....HA is, after all, the red component. I blend this in with a combination of opacity and masks. I will then switch to lab mode and use the L channel..which is the lum...and add the ha to this....and this is usually added at about 80%. This adds the extra detail while adding to the red gives it a bit more color depth. this is one of those things where you just fuss with it until you get a method down and it always varies a bit picture to picture.
