I received a message that some here would like to ask questions about the Horse Head and Flame image I posted. I would be glad to answer any questions you might post.

Excellent closeup shot of the HH + Flame. The non-red details are fantastic.

Wow, that DSI II Pro certainly is worth the bucks it looks like
Great setup you have there! Quick question, that WO Megrez 80, is it the triplet edition or the Zenithstar regular doublet edition?
And great cluster image too Which one is that?

Excellent image...what are your skies like 9.5?
I wonder if that reducer will work with my 66mm APO from William optics...

Hi Stephen, The DSI Pro II is actually a real sleeper of a performer. The image is NGC-7789, open cluster in Cassiopeia. The WO 80mm is the Megrez 80mm APO Triplet f/6, LOMO objective I believe, made in Russia. Excellent scope, but they are no longer being made and only a few are left from APM. Blueman

Hi Greg, Thank you! My skies are pretty good, but not quite 9.5. Transparency is the key as well as steady skies. I am fortunate to have a few sites near me that fit that description. The TV Reducer works from 400-700mm I believe. So most likely it would work just fine. It does add in focus because it extends the camera away from the focuser. So if you have to focus out a ways, it would not be a problem. Blueman

You sure are getting some excellent shots with it!! That sounds like a great scope to have! I have a WO Megrez 80 Triplet too, but its not a LOMO objective as far as I know...

Hi Stephan, Thanks! if your Megrez is an f/6 then it is the Lomo objective or at least that is my understanding. Blueman
