First images with a Phillips SPC900NC new
      #2066296 - 12/21/07 05:11 PM Attachment (75 downloads)

Managed my first images with a webcam this week.
Used my ETX90RA on a home made wedge, just guessed at polar alignment and each image was taken using autoexposure so I lost a bit of contrats trying to balance the four images making up this mosaic.

This is one of these images, of Eratosthenes and Copernicus.
Better detail than the mosaic as I didn't have to make so many compromises but still overexposed in the brighter parts.

Great closeup shots of the moon. The level of detail is fantastic.

+1 The weather has been horrible this week and doesn't look like it's going to improve anytime soon. I'm so mad I missed Mars's closest approach.

Bill I hope my images are half as good as yours for my first attempt.
