Welcome to the Cloudy Nights Reader’s Gallery Submission Forum. Each month, we ask Cloudy Nights members to submit their best DSO photos in this thread.
For your photo entries, please provide a description that includes: Your First and Last Name; Date of photo (can include the time); Description (title) of the image; Relevant photo information (exposure length and equipment used).
This is important! If you don't supply ALL information, we won't be able to use your photograph!!!!

Imaged with an SBIG ST-8XE and Astrodon Tru-Balance LRGB filters on a CFW-8a filter wheel. Takahashi FS-102 @ f/8 wiht an IDAS LPS filter on a Takahashi EM200 mount.
L: 19x10 minutes binned 1x1 R: 12x5 minutes binned 2x2 G: 12x5 minutes binned 2x2 B: 12x5 minutes binned 2x2
Images acquired and calibrated with CCDSoft. Luminance combined using Ray Gralak's Sigma-Reject 10. RGB combine and pre=procesing with Maxim DL. Final LRGB combine and processing with Photoshop CS.

Just tried Kodak Elitechrome 200 slide film for the first time. This is a 25 minute exposure of the Rosette Nebula autoguided with the DSI. Focus was a little soft and some coma. 10" LXD Schmidt Newtonian F/4.

Here is a shot of the Medusa Nebula, a large and faint planetary nebula in Gemini.

ST-7ME/CFW-8a with Astrodon Tru-Balance color filter set on my Takahashi FS 102 at f/6 with a focal reducer. Processed with median combine and dark frame subtraction in Maxim DL/CCD. Color combining and final processing in Photoshop CS.
Auto-guided Ha20/L20/R10/G10/B10 with sub-exposures of 60 seconds in each data set.

Processing Details:
Images aquired with CCDSoft V5
Dark and Flat calibrated each frame, adaptive add combined, soft DDP processing in Images Plus.
Debloomed, selective smoothed and unsharp masked in Photoshop 5.0.
Exported to JPG with IrfanView.
