LOL, no.. it never ends.
Erika and I started out last November by deciding that we would buy eachother a joint early christmas present (a factory refurbished ETX70).
Since then.... 2x barlow 3 x barlow 5mm eyepiece 8mm tlelview Plossl eyepiece Celestron NexImage webcam Dew shield red dot finder Scopetronix flexifocus filter starter kit IR Filter Fringe killer filter Meade DSI books computer software & cables from Meade..
oh, and at the beginning of this month we added a slightly bigger telescope This came with various acessories too.
This week I purchased my first acessory for the new telescope (a focal reducer). I have a few more items that are on the wishlist too. I think I need to lock away my credit card!

You needn't be homeless. Just get a big tarp, drape it over the scope, and crawl inside...

Tom, that's simply not practical. It would make more sense to buy a scope large enough to live in when it's not in use.

Nah! It'll never end.
About two weeks after I got my TV 85, I left my laptop browser on a Coronado Solar Filter for my wife to "discover."
She said "Ok, when you get your next bonus!"

it never ends. the good news is that if you have a really big scope, you could always sleep in it for awhile to support the astrogear bug...

Man, I love buying those accessories! For you long timers out there, how is it after a few years? Does you scope represent only about 25-35 percent of the total cost of your astro gear? tog
