Come to a FREE Star Party in Prineville, Oregon sponsored by the Oregon State Parks and Recreation Dept. It is on June 10th and 11th at the Prineville Reservoir State Park, a very dark site overlooking the beautiful Prineville Reservoir in the high desert. The elevation is about 3500 feet and has mag 7.5+ skies. It is VERY DARK. There is no admission charge and camping (both tent and rv's
with no hookup) is free. Food will be available as well as speakers (one from NASA), free kayaking, fishing, swimming and guided hikes and Live Birds of Prey. Lodging and restaurants available about 20 minutes away as well.
