Temple 1 20 minutes post impact. My pre impact images were lost when my Computer locked up I did not however detect any noticable change in the comet visualy. I will take more images tonight

Cool! I've seen a sequence of images taken from Arizona that spanned the time of the impact and I didn't see any real noticable brightening. Most of the visual reports I've seen have reported at most only a slight increase in brightness shortly after impact. It'll be neat to see what your follow-up images show.

Great capture DSG, it's a difficult enough target to get on film. I have seen a sequence of images which DOES show a noticeable brightening of Tempel 1 in another part of this forum, but for the life of me i can't remember where...can someone help me out here
