i have a pair of vintage 9x35 zephyr binoculars coming and in ex.cond,does anyone know about these binos and how good are the optics or any info.thanks john cota

On the Deutsche Optik forum there's one inquiry, and one reply saying they're post-WWII and that the first ones were made in the USA and very popular but that later ones were made in Japan (which wasn't so good in the early 1950s).

did get the zepher's in and they were in mint like new cond. looks like the person never used them.for a binocular thats 50 or more years old they are very sharp and bright,super light 18 or 19oz.built very solid. the optics are up todays standard on most of the 200 to 300.00 porros. years ago this was B&L top mod. made in rochester NY regards john C
