While out with my grab'n'go [90mm ETX] for a bit last night, I noticed that Mare Smythii was turned in from the limb just enough to see the darkness of the mare, the sunlit rims of its' internal craters, and also the outline of the further rim. The libration in longitude [when I took the image below] was +01° 11'.
Tonight at 21:52 UT [Nov12], the libration will be a bit more favorable at 02°40', and tomorrow night will be even better. But you'll definitely get to peek into Mare Smythii tonight.
