Here is a picture of my 12.5 inch F5 Cave. It is the same telescope as on page 8 of this thread. I extended the tube by 5 inches, and have added a Protostar secondary and a Moonlite focuser. I have also painted it black as you can see. It is in my just completed observatory.

Thanks.I was thinking I should have zoomed in on the scope a bit more because the pic in the background would steal the show and it did. Most of the prints on the main floor are of a similar theme as well as the ornaments.Although I would like to take credit for it I must tell you that I am not the person who put it together although I did do the flooring.

Yes it is real. It's maple. It took me 2 days with the help of two friends to do 3 bedrooms, living room and dining room. One person picked out the pieces so that we could get a nice blend of colors and lengths while the other roughly placed them for me to tack into place. It was two days of severe torture for our backs.Hopefully none of my friends ever ask me to help with hardwood flooring(although i'll have to oblige them if they do).The baseboards are two-piece to cover the expansion gap around the floor.I used a latex caulk to make all the baseboards look like they are one piece and continuous. No gaps because of uneven walls.I am starting to feel like this belongs in a home improvement forum.

"I think I seen that green reflector somewhere before???"

Mr. McGee, don't make my scope angry. You wouldn't like it when it's angry.

The scope hasn't changed, but the surroundings have, a little.
Here's its temporary setup at our new place -- we feel like we're groundskeepers in a park!

Fewer lights than before, but still a few that will need to be blocked by small trees. The observatory will eventually be at this location. But not this year!
