First try at astrophotography
      #813092 - 02/06/06 09:49 PM Attachment (54 downloads)

Admittedly, easy targets. All these taken over two nights. The moon was taken with my 10" f/5.6 Discovery through a 24mm Panoptic. Saturn was with the same scope through a 6.7mm Meade 5000 UWA. Saturn only represents a single shot, no stacking yet.

First try?! Those moons are really good! Your Saturns will be MUCH better when you have 1000 or so to stack - I look foward to it!

Your Moon shots are great! Try a lite Gaussian blur to soften effects of processing. Saturn turned out pretty good too... Like Peter said, another 1000 frames and you are good to go;-)
