Oh yeah i'm happy! I just got a brand new Paragon-Plus *Orion* for my 15 x 70 Oberwerk and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! That thing is BIG and solide like rock! I saw fainter stars i could not see with my digicam tripod, yeah i know i just got the digicam tripod but it will serve other purpose soon, but the Paragon-Plus is something i would recommend, the mount has a very smooth motion and really provides relaxing views, zenith is for a first fun to do! The tripod is (compare to my digicam tripod) massive and really rock steady, why? Cause i test it on my patio and there the digicam tripod was shakie and all.
Man i was thinking of purchasing the Skymaster 25x100 but it will wait a little since my money went on the mount, and i will think it over if i'll go for the 25x100 or smaller 20x80 Oberwerks so that it fits my Paragon-Plus mount, the mount supports a maximum of 5,5lbs so ...
Boy i'm happy even got to test it tonight! But clouds slipped in early, can't wait for another night out under the stars!
Link to the Paragon-plus if you'll like to see ...

Good for you! A proper mount will make a tremendous difference with a large binocular. You made a good choice!

Yep. And that's a MUCH better investment than the one I have in General Motors.

Hey Joad, I bought my GM stock in summer 2000. Buy high, sell low, hmm that's not the way it's supposed to work. With the money I've lost so far I could have bought some nice toys.
