Thanks. I finally got tired of trying to get decent guiding out of my LX50. I feel like a whole new world has opened up now that I can autoguide.

What apparatus is being used to mount the 80mm on your 9.25. Beautiful set up, great images...

He is using the Losmandy 4" dovetail along with what looks to be Losmandy 125mm guide rings.
Nice set up though!

That's correct, I'm using a Losmandy dovetail and the 125mm rings (DR 125). The guide scope mounting is rock solid (now if I can get everything else tied down a little better I'd be able to do subs longer than 3-4 minutes...)

Here is my "new" Ultima 11. Not sure of mfr date, but the manual is dated 1995. No first light yet, rain rain rain since I got it. In the background is my old 8" Mead converted to Dob mount. It's a great scope but the mirror needs re-coated. Just ignore the bloke in between, that's just some bum who wandered in off the street ;>

Here is my first picture of my setup. Old C8 with new trimmings. The large weight on the back is really good to look through with a C8 .

I thought I liked doing my own mods. Notice the orange paint scratches I did to myself while performing my surgical de-forking. It wasn't until later I read a thread on how to do this without vintage/antique trashing. Optics are in fine working order though.

Sorry Pollux, my dresses are much more elegant than that.

Nice scope, Clive, very well kept ... I wish I could say the same for the old geezer standing next to it.
