Im envious of you who have spring now, we still have more than a meter of snow, and there is most likely 2 months before anything green can be spotted..

Well, this is just a plant and a dime... I'm still going ape with the extension tubes I got, so I found a really small flower and tried to take a picture of it with a dime for comparison. Only the dime was farther away so I had to combine two images, and the flower actually closed over the course of 5 or 10 minutes. Grr! I think It's a storksbill.

Ice plant - when these flower they really spice up the area - very striking and digital is just not doing them justice. Clipping of the colour it seems to me.
