That looks like a beautiful place, Patrick. Do they still use the mill at all?

Yes, it's one of the last fully functioning mills left in Ohio. It's quite a nice place to visit. Here's their website. My sister, Julie, and her husband are the owners and are currently running the mill as a non-profit historical entity. Julie maintains the grounds, flowers and landscaping, as well as being an artist herself.

Thanks, Patrick. I have it saved on my favorites and hope to visit it on one of my trips to Springfield or Dayton.

Must be that ozone hole I keep hearing about.
Neat effect. Seems way too late in the year to still have that white stuff on the ground. Must be hard to work up a good sweat walking around outside.

Strong photos Jostein! Looks like a giant eye looking down. I wish we had clouds like that here. We haven't had rain for months and things are hot and dry. It's akin to living in Phoenix with humidity.

Yeah, that must be it
The "white stuff" is persistant, yes, only in August-September there is a hope that everything is gone. Usually there are some spots that survive to the next winter though.

Thanks Remy. I hope you get some rain soon without getting totally flooded. It look like its to much or to little over there. We have had a fairly cold May and June, but hopefully it will get a little bit better soon.

Thanks Zach, Mila, Steph and Dave. Yes, I enjoy my view very much, the scenery changes more or less from day to day as the weather and time of year passes. I even like to view it (or tiny bits of it more exactly) through my telescope. Some photos for fun here:
