My 1st night out with Neximage
      #952237 - 05/12/06 02:27 AM Attachment (102 downloads)

I took a variety of avi's - jupiter, moon, saturn. I have no idea what I'm doing yet but one of the moon shots came out pretty pleasing (at least to me). It's 200 frames stacked in registax. Scope is a Nexstar 130 SLT.

Great first shot. Focus looks good. Plenty of detail, very natural looking.

Thanks folks. I'll post the jupiter and saturn once I process them. They seem to be a lot more problematic than the moon - for obvious reasons.

Great close-up moonshot -- I could only wish that my early shots (or even the current ones) could show this much closeup detail, especially with a full (or almost full) moon.

nice one - good focus, good exposure, and a good contrasty image too. Well done!

OK, so here's Jupiter and Saturn. Seeing wasn't all that great - particularly when I shot Saturn and I'm obviously still trying to experiment with Registax.

Great shots...what were your Amcap/Neximage settings? Gain, Saturation, frames per second, etc...

Again, these shots show great resolution (way beyond anything I've ever managed). The Jupiter shot is really sharp -- the edges are not fuzzy at all.
