Thank you for all your friendly congratulations and comments.
Franz and i are really impressed and its a great motivation for us that our image has been selected.
We want to express our congrats also to Michael with his, from our point of view, outstanding M81!

The selection of the June Object was difficult for us. There are many promising object selectable for this time frame.

However, we like very much DSLR images with shorter (300->500mm) focal length. Therefore our selection for the image of the month June is:
M8 plus M20 on one image
