Spoonsize (AKA: Steve Durham)& his wife Marge stopped in late this morning to pick up they new "baby". They're on their way back home now. Hope they have a safe ride...and a slow one. Here we've just loaded the 8' diameter Explora-Dome on the back on the 4WD Toyota pickup truck

One more for good measure. Hard to believe nearly nine long months ago this dome's concept was first concieved. And now it has been born and is taking root all over the US and at least one already in Canada. And this dome is still in its infancy.

A little smaller and Steve's got himself a mobile observatory there.

I hope he made it home OK, where he'll have loads of fun cleaning the bugs off it.

After getting Steve loaded up with his dome, I got around to getting my last two corners on the base finished up with the white trim boards. A nice picture with the dome sitting there so nice & pretty. Now if I could only get that dome up on top! Next to be started will be the wood framework for the white roof transition panels, which can be seen on the ground behind the observatory.
