I wish I could see a picture of one mounted on top of a Meade SCT. I wonder how badly that blue might clash with the Meade blue?
I'll bet it would look spiffy on top of a black Celestron SCT.
I have a question too. What happens if a state does not sell? I mean, I will not mention names, but there are some states that I cannot imagine anybody wanting.
Please note on the website, only two states are listed as being sold, with one other state pending.
Naturally, Texas is Sold.

CactusButt, I totally agree about some states, like Texas, who would buy Texas

I wouldn't come to TSP if I were you, Preston...
(My guess would be our friend krackerjack serving in Iraq jumped on that one, since he lives in Texas otherwise... )

Actually, there was talk about the Texas version being painted silver with a single blue star on it. After careful consideration the Idea was "dropped"

Preston,
Since I am not a native Texan, , I still have to do anything I can just to prove I belong.
I swear I almost pulled the trigger today, until I saw the TX one was gone. If I could only see a picture of it next to the Meade Blue, I would still consider a US one.
Replacing the Meade finder with a nice 66mm for those wide fields that my 10" LX200GPS cannot handle has always been on my mind. I can definitely see myself enjoying jumping back and forth to compare the views between the SCT and the piggybacked WO.

Come on krackerjack9, you promise to spill the beans a long time ago in this thread. Like Steph said, you got the TX one, right?
I noticed Arkansas, umm, ok, and California joined Ohio and Texas on the sold list today. Alaska is still pending.

I didn't get the CA one, but I have to admit the scope is growing on me. I still think I'll pass though.

Is it just me or does that scope look like something Evel Knievel would have crossed the Grand Canyon in?
Nice idea to make a donation to charity for each one sold, mind. And a nice scope too.
