How do I find Sigma Ori, I do not own a star chart that lists it?

Nevermind, I'm an idiot. I had the Greek letter wrong for Sigma, thought it was something else...no wonder I couldn't find it last night. Maybe I'll try tonight!

Glad you figured it out. But I'll tell you, once you've had a good night with Sigma you'll never need an atlas to find it again! So much going on there!

You're certain to enjoy it. It almost ranks as a star cluster in my mind. Try different powers on it, and look to see if you can discern any colors. The longer you look, the more you'll see. Here is a link to a nice photo.

It's a glorious quartet and will remind you of Jupiter and three of its moons !
