I've been looking at these two telescopes, and a search turned up this discussion. Good info! Thanks guys.

Great travel scopes. I often take my ZS66, my Hyperion Zoom, and an old tripod with me on trips. Everything but the tripod fits in the hotel room safe.

Nice scopes. I picked up a white WO Zenithstar 66ED for my friend and think it was a really good buy for $299. Only thing with those scopes is the limited rear balance range that the small dovetail foot provides. This becomes a issue with heavier eyepieces and compelled me to purchase a custom dovetail bar that allowed for such adjustment.
