I also leave everything totally in place and ready to go... all I have to do is take off the OTA end caps, the EP caps, open the roof, and turn everything on...

wake up from hibernation, and I can be imaging within 5-10 minutes (depends mostly on how long it takes to get a successful calibration run).

Shut-down is easy: move scope to home position, put ON the end caps (EP and OTAs), close the roof and turn everything off.

The way I make sure everything is OFF s I use power strips with those orangey/red LED status lights... I make sure those are all off, and I'm good to go...

This has been my mode for 2 years now, and it just works!
