The Veil nebula

For a long time I wanted to sketch this one, but didn't have a courage. For some reason, beautiful objects like Veil, M42, Andromeda galaxy, Swan nebula - keep scaring me away. (Probably I'm always afraid that I won't achieve the desired result)
Anyway this is a first attempt. Though it was sketched under dark desert skies, I started the sketch at ~4 am. Since it was at june 20th - I really had to hurry.
I learned a few lessons, and next time probably will try the NGC6960's sister - the eastern part of the Veil.
Also I experiment lately with various sketch layouts, to find the most ipressive one

The Telescope I used was Orion's 8" SkyView pro Newtonian, with 25mm eyepiece and Ultrablock filter.
The sketch is made on white paper using HB, 3H and 5H pencils, red led light, and few blenders. Then, as usual, it was scanned, inverted and processed a bit in photoshop.
