While you look for NGC-6992, look for NGC-6995 as well, it looks something like a witch's broom in shape and lies in between the two brighter sections. The larger the telescope, the more complex this nebula becomes. It's a real challenge to sketch through a large telescope because you see filaments everywhere. Well done!

I remember seeing that nebula you mentioned on the same night. It's quite a complex and very dim nebula, therefore tough to sketch properly. One day...

And you are absolutely right about the filaments which can be seen in large scopes (or dark skies). They pose quite a challenge for a sketcher.
