Well got my chain and sprocket yesterday, and I installed them today. Cut about 7 links from the chain and built a rolling idler to take up a bit of slack in the chain. I bolted/welded the motor fixed after I measured the location for the motor. A bit of 3" 1/4' angle iron with a drilled hole to hold the neoprene roller was welded secure to the base iron plate... Now things are all finished with the drive...and it works swell.... ![]() Here is an image of the finished motor and chain mounted. |
