I've also been pondering the possibilities of flipping this mask in front of the OTA automatically. The same mechanism could also be used to cover the scope at the end of an imaging session. Frankly it's a bit surprising that something like that doesn't exist although I'm sure it would be $$$. Instead of servos I was thinking either a stepper or a simple DC motor with a micro controller and end position switches. Servos are a great option too though, good idea.
