It seems to me that I used to see ads for these scopes in Sky & Telescope magazine. Is the mounting design similar to that of Carton Optical Company? If so, then they are extremely high caliber instruments.

From the photographs in the Craigslist Ad they seem to be precision made. Can a few of our members further elaborate on this brand of older telescope?
