I've found sellers are willing to ship, if you handle the packaging and shipping arrangements. Agree ahead of sale that they drop, (place), the scope at the UPS Store of their choosing and call you with contact info. Over the phone you can request how you want it packaged and delivered. The packaging might cost you $35 or $40 but you can usually get that "local pickup only" scope without the expense of relocating
