Nice report. I also got out last night here in NY with my C8. The skies cleared totally between 11:30 and midnight. Before then I was dodging clouds. I viewed some of the same objects you did. (M11, M27, NGC 6712, The Veil Nebula) Good thing I was able to get out because the forecast for the week looks rainy again.
