It's an issue we all deal with. Another common struggle is oversizing features while trying to sketch in the details, such as sunspots or prominences. This is why sketching larger is beneficial, since we have more room to add the finer details. In DSO sketching, it's easy to sketch the stars way too large while trying to get magnitudes correct, or drawing something a lot more contrasty than what they really are visually. The good thing is that we can use sketching as a means to train our eyes to notice more detail with each session. So even if we don't get the limb arc quite right or oversize something, we've still benefited from the entire sketch experience. Again, great job.
