Here's something from last night

Still a lot of problems but this is the longest I've ever guided/exposed and had a identifiable object:-)This is a crop and resize of a single 5 minute shot. Dan

Here's the larger one.

The larger one. You can really see my optics or something is off, I'll get it though.

Good detail -- might be a little focus issue?

Great start, Dan! There's some good detail there. Definitely try flats next; that will make a huge difference to what you can see

Clear skies

Re: Here's something from last night

Hi Brian, thanks. Yea focus and maybe collimation too. I've been struggling with these old sonotube ota's for a long time and dont think they've ever been exactly right.
So I have 3 or 4 problems all compounding. Actually there's even more problems than that but if I can get the above improved that'll make a huge difference.
Can you look at that Andromeda picture and tell me what the horizontal lines are? They are in a lot of the images from that night.
Thanks you guys, Dan
