I'm sure there must be a lot of moon shots these days, at least that's all I've been able to capture with the crummy skies.. Here's mine.. Orion 100mm Achro/CG5 300D ISO800 1/325sec

Good shot, Gary. Try colorizing it?

Bump up the saturation in small steps until color shows up.

I just tried it on your image. It's not working so well on this small one. It may work better on the raw. Maybe even stack the few raws you have before trying the colorizing.

The secret to colour saturating the moon is stack a very large number of frames to lower the noise in your image. Otherwise bumping up the colour saturation just results in false colour speckles amongst the true colour you are trying to bring out
100 frames is a good starting point. You can grab all these in ~ 10 to 15 minutes with a DSLR
Heres a clean colour saturation moon image

Mine colorized fabulously from a single shot. I suppose it just takes the right shot.

Just got back in, took a few through Big Blue with my Rebel XT. Here is one of them, ran one shot through Registax's wavelets:
(shrinking it has made it a mess, but it's still ok, I guess-I like that the CA is controlled quite nicely--this is, after all, a cheap large aperture, fast(ish) achromat)
