Gorgeous set pics BTW.

Out of curiousity, are these sets mainly for collection purposes or do they see a lot of scope time? Just curious - I am gathering a set of s4000 UWA smoothies, but for me they will be my main workhorse ep's for the forseeable future.

All my eyepieces get used. Nothing is for purely a collection purpose only.

I was thinking it is more the size of a pineapple and would weigh as much too! I have the 23mm Axiom LX so the picture you posted gives me a good idea of the size of the 31mm...3 lbs!! What a beast! Nice set of EP's BTW, I'm heading there myself...I just got the 10mm Axiom LX to add to the 23...so I have some catching up to do!
Clear skies!

All of mine get used when I can actually drag the CPC1100 out when its not overcast or raining down here. I mainly use the 7-15 for planetary and the "big'uns" like I call them for DSO observing.

Mine have been in use since I started with them. I had gotten the 12.4 with a Meade model 314 when I first got back into the hobby..

That was the first of them.I've been hooked ever since.. It took the better part of 2 yrs or so to collect up that set. There IS one missing from that pic too.. I also have the 32mm to go with them.. Never updated the picture.

This is my Carl Zeiss Jena ortho family. I have doubles of some focal lengths (16, 12.5, and 10) for my binos. These are super sharp eyepieces and see plenty of use.

Cheers,

Ron

Hi Tony, Congrat for your complete collection ! Is your 55mm is big as you think ?

Here my collection of Televue Widefield that you have seen. The 40mm is the grip and eyecup type but it fitt well in the bacth. I used it in my widefield refractor.

Ron,
Fantastic Carl Zeiss Jena ortho family!
King of the ortho's!

André,
thanks, i must say that im impressed with the size of the 55mm TV plossl, its about the same size as the 12T4!
I will post a pic of my 2" barrel EP's.
Im not sure if anything tops the 40mm TV WF in size!
Its a monster, as Pierre Mcguire would say for you hockey fans!
Anyways fantastic WF TV set i bet you those are all keepers!

Rick,
Baader Hyperion family very nice eyepiece's indeed!
Fixed are hard to beat in the 68 degree class in terms of value + quality and one of the best zooms around, maybe the best!

Jim,
Zebras i heard of but only seen a few. Very nice!
Did they come in all different eyepiece designs ortho, plossl etc.?

Embarrased to admit I don't think I've ever had a complete collection of any eyepiecs, always a mixed bunch. Great images you guys - thanks! Normally I only see collection shots on the vendor ad's or websites.

Here is one of the few "complete" sets of eyepieces I have, the Vixen NPL Plossls. I really like these, great images with great ergonomics and fit and finish.
