Was thinking about springing for that 12mm Kasai Ortho at OPT, glad I didn't. They look exactly like the BGO / UO HD, but maybe they're not equal in image quality?

The image quality of the 18 Kasai looked good. It was the spot when barlowing that was the issue. David

According to Barry from KK, Circle-T orthos will be ending production soon. 18mm just ran out as well

Holy cow! They have been making those for decades! I guess the gentleman who makes them is retiring or so I hear. Glad I got my 9, 12.5, 18 and 25mm bino pairs a few months ago, they are excellent little eyepieces.

It would be nice if a company like ES would pick these up. They fit with the ES business modle of high quality, low price.

Well, it's official. The surge in demand has pushed Tani-san to retire early, bringing the curtain down on Circle-T orthos.
