Hi Lance,
No. I usually am not fond of using a barlow. Would this not cause extreme eye relief and black outs? Thanks for your input.

Joe,
It would at least place your eye pretty far away from the eye lens (the longer the focal length the worse it gets). It might or might not result in blackouts, depending upon the eyepiece. But you could use a Powermate or Telecentric Barlow which will keep your eye placement the same as the eyepiece alone.

Hi Lance,
I will definitely consider trying the Powermate with the 5mm just for the heck of it, but I am afraid that seeing usually does not support 1200x! Perhaps, if I were outside the stratosphere.  Thank you.

Powermate the 10mm, not the 5mm  . Then, assuming it's a 2X Powermate, compare the Powermated 10mm with the 5mm. If the views look the same, than you can sell the 5mm and buy a new toy!

Pentax XW (20mm, 30mm)
21mm Ethos
20T5, 26T5 Nagler (with an edge to the 20T5)
In the 'it's hard to resist mentioning it even though it doesn't fit the range':
17.3mm Delos.
