This is from two nights ago. I've been experimenting with different setups. With this one its straight thru (no diagonal) a Televue 2.5x powermate. The drawtube was almost the whole way out of the focuser. Needless to say focusing was a little difficult. The camera was a Toucam 840k with a Baader Fringe Killer attached. The shot was captured at 5fps at 1/25 sec, 10% gain, 10% gamma & 50% bright. All processed and stacked with Registax with a little tweeking in Photoshop LE. About 160 frames.

Jupiter, March 22 (UD), 04:01 UT, Celestron 9.25 with Televue 2X barlow, Toucam II, 133 frames stacked out of approx. 450. Avi frame set captured in K3CCD, pre-selected and decompressed in Virtual Dub, and stacked and wavelet processed (evenly 3x3, 1,1) in Registax. Some manaual "de-selection" done in Stacking page in Registax.

Good Seeing,

Hi all:

My name is Juan Ignacio Fernández and I am writing
from Málaga, Spain.

Attached you have a photo of Jupiter that I took on
March 21st at 00:35 UT from Malaga, using my Sony
camcorder and my MEADE LX200 10".

The final photo is the enhanced average of the best 141
single shots, using Astrostack.

I posted this photo yesterday but I did it in the wrong
place. Charles has kindly told me this is the correct
thread.

Clear skies
Juan Ignacio

Hello Everyone,

Jupiter taken 28 March 9:00 PM CST from Shalimar Florida.
I used a Meade 12 inch LX200GPS, 3x Barlow, ToUcam, and an
IR cut filter. I managed to get this just before a nasty
fog bank rolled in and ruined an evening of great seeing.

This was 200 frames stacked and processed with RegiStax.

This is a improved version of the image I first posted.
My thanks to Charles Hover for taking the time to improve
the colors and detail of my original submission.

Here's my image of Jupiter on April 1. The GRS is rising. This was taken using a Celestron C8 SCT mounted on my AP900GTO mount working at f/30 with a Toucam Webcam

The exposure time of these images was 1/33sec, Gamma at 0, Gain 20% and White Balance Auto, at 5fps with my telescope working at f/30. 620 uncompressed images were stacked with 1.5 Resampling in Registax.
