Mine remind me of amber, I found myself holding them up to light looking for fossilized insects inside. Just dreaming.

They are absolutely stunning. I've not been fortunate to have one in my collection yet; but plan on one in the future!
Very interesting link, thanks!

I'll keep my eyes peeled for an affordably-priced piece. I bought this one about 4 years ago for a steal. I paid about $5 per gram for it. It was one of those lucky eBay finds, back in the days when only a handful of dealers were active there. Now, it's a bidding war and dozens of dealers in competition. Prices are all over the place and great deals are getting tougher to find. Pallasites in general have climbed in price. But, on rare occasion, usually around Tucson time, a few steals are possible.

A "pseudo-pallasite" - Shirokovsky. This circulated on the market as a true pallasite and a lot of people were fooled. Some people paid top dollar for large translucent slices. It was later revealed to be a fraud and a meteorwrong. It has been extensively studied, and nobody is quite sure how it was made or by who, but it is definitely not a meteorite. This piece was thin-sliced at Penn State Dept. of Earth and Environmental Sciences. A few of the crystals are transparent.
