It was fun! Roll on next year!
I have a bunch of other pics. This is probably enough to start with, though.
(Ignore the numbers: they were to help me post. Sorry a couple are out of order)

+1 Another Thank You from West Coast... hilarious comment about that new TEC being 'grab and go'... also like that you captured fellows look of puzzled amazement looking at it. I have that WW field case and they are just a joy to own... sturdy, useful... and often gets more initial interest than my other gear...

Neil,
Thanks for posting these and I look forward to seeing your other pictures.
This is the second year I have missed NEAF due to family health issues. I have always enjoyed seeing all the latest and coolest stuff even if I couldn't (or wouldn't) afford it.
I'm hoping for a healthy 2013!
Cheers,
Ron

The TEC is drool worthy. Can we infer from the name that it provides a seven degree field? Wow.

I'm guessing that's the case. I wanted to ask Yuri, but he was busy talking with other attendees each time I went by. I didn't want to take his time away from anyone who might actually be a potential purchaser. I do hope he puts something up on the TEC site, though.

18. To me, the most interesting scope on show: TEC's amazing Wide Field Camera: 300mm aperture at f 1:1.44! No price given. My wife has agreed that this is a perfect grab-and-go scope for me: if I grab one, she'll go straight to divorce court…
I talked to one of the fellows at the TEC booth. The TEC 300VT-7 DEG f/1.44 astrograph has a projected price of $49,000 to $60,000 and the f/1.55 10 degree model over $150,000.
