Electronic pest controller for inside. I have one and it works well. A guy at work place a few in his house and notice bugs crawing out and was impressed. It will take about a week.

Maryland was not much better (or worst I guess)

I spent a few hours yesterday getting rid a 2 wasp nests but that was the easy part...

Vacuuming up all the dead (and alive) stink bugs was another story...(and the reason I had to spend a couple of hours out there)..

Our wasps don't look so nice. They are drab orange color

The way I see it, if something is going to sting you and cause pain, the least it can do is look pretty while doing it.

The black and yellow wasps are more of an annoyance, they rarely sting unless swatted at. I have lots of them all over and go out right after dusk and spray the nests.

Opened up the obs today and guess what i saw!? Maybe 30 wasps.. No nests to be found at least under the insulation. Maybe theres some between the ins and roof, i dont know.
But besides sealing up everything really well(my next big project) what can i do about these things?

Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguisher... No toxic chemicals, no residue, give them a blast and freeze them to death; an old school method.

Indeed they are! I've been stung a few times, & boy does it hurt for several days. I'm really careful with those buggers around.

No obs in my yard, but I observe from a platform...this summer it wasn't wasps, it was Raccoons!!! I am too paranoid to observe in my yard now because they came sneaking right up to me in the dark and scared the bejesus out of me.

Nice shots of those wasps or yellow jackets or whatever they are !!!

The ones I have here, like in the first photo; are extremely aggressive, and will actually "chase" me & my dog! I was talking with a neighbor one day, not moving at all; and all of a sudden, I felt pain, and one had stung me badly on my leg!

You can always get them at night. My dad had trouble with them in the roof above their room. He just filled all of the holes with Expando - Foam . Wonderful stuff

Clear skies,

It's impossible for me to get them at night; as I don't know where they nest. I live out in the country, & have never seen one of their nests, but they are around daily, during the warm months.

Carol look under anything wood, they love bare wood to build nests on. Up under eaves or in cracks of old buildings.
