Thanks Michael and Herman! As for the roof, I really like the head room the design provides. With the wall only six feet tall, the open structure makes it easier to stow the OTA and avoid head injuries

Clear Skies,
Brian

My youngest son Ian and I were at the Home Depot picking up some odds and ends and pricing materials for a roll away cart project last weekend. The materials were starting to add up so I decided to see if there was anything ready made to do the job, maybe some kind of shop cart. While browsing the tool section and checking out an inexpensive mobile tool cart, the department manager came up to help me. After a few minutes discussion he said he had something that might be of interest in the clearance section, a last-of-a-kind item that had just been moved to the floor. So we get over there and he shows me a very cool five drawer, 36" wide stainless steel roll away tool cart with a built in six plug protected power strip that immediately registered in my brains as "not in my budget". The original price was well over $300...and the manager told me he would give it to me for $145! That was close to the projected cost of my build project with none of the hassles, so I jumped on it and the cabinet now resides in the observatory awaiting a few minor modifications. It's just about perfect for my needs, and I am very glad to have been in the right place at the right time. Next up is moving an all wood, stand alone country cupboard that my wife wants out of the kitchen into the obsy and my main storage requirements are taken care of...

Clear Skies,
Brian

Bonus shot: I was imaging Friday morning before work (terrible seeing ) and took a few pix as I was shutting down. Here is the C11 Edge in full planetary RGB imaging mode. It's an absolute treat to be able to leave most of this stuff in place after a session. I was shut down and locked up in about five minutes

Clear Skies,
Brian

Looking very good Brian. Nice deal on that roll away tool chest!

Yeah, that just closing the roof and closing the door and walking away part... tough to get used to? Then there's the just walking in and rolling the roof off and 'good to go' part too... perm pier and alignment done... it's the good life?

Thanks ya'll! That cabinet is filling up fast too, I'm working out where to put everything so it's easy to find in the dark...entertaining fun "work".

Clear Skies,
Brian
