Very nice sketches! I love studying M82 through the eyepiece of my 10" reflector, just checking out all of the detail I could possibly see with the aperture. You certainly have caught a lot!

Taras,
An excellent set of deep sky observations made using your new instrument (Congratulations!). You have recorded all of the objects very nicely. The new 15-inch reflector must provide some very sharp and bright views of the objects rendered. Thank you sharing them with us all.

Thanks everyone, I'm glad everyone enjoyed them. There will of course be more to come, once some clear skies without the moon returns. Given the fantastic views the 10-inch gives from a dark site, I can only expect even better views through the 15-inch.

Fantastic work Taras, Your drawings take me back to the days when I observed with a 14 inch reflector.

Taras great work.I too came from a 10" to a 15" ,your gonna love a dark sky.Sketching will start to become intimidating with all the detail the 15 will bring.

Boy, you're not kidding, I couldn't keep up with everything that was visible when I looked at the Orion Nebula. It gets even harder to sketch things through even larger telescopes, have you ever seen M-42 through a 25-inch? It starts to look like a Hubble photo. Thanks for the thumbs up by the way Rutilus and John, I'm very happy with how things have worked out since the telescope was two years in the making.
