Hi.

Sky cleared but very turbulent. No close up possible for sure.

Andre.

Steve.

Oh yes. But took longer because of the clouds going on and out. It's always the same thing here since two months. It's very rare I have chance to take my time to draw. I'll always in a hurry fighting against the clouds.

Since a couple of days, it's longer doing the surface than the limb. It's much harder to see the surface details, I have to pay much time observing and finding them.

You know, usually it take minimum 30 minutes to sketch the full disk and 45 minutes to treat it in photoshop !!!

Thanks Steve

Andre.

Andre,
Another great sketch. Many sunspots to view today and you have captured them beautifully.

Ken

Excellent André!

It most certainly takes a lot of observation skills to be able to position the numerous features on the disk, including the relative sizes of filament and spots. The kind of puzzle I would fail to assemble to way you do.

Jean

Thank you Jean.

I'm sure everybody is able to do the same. You just have to observe and draw, is that simple.

Andre.

Andre,

Always impressive that you do these fine sketches.
One does not get a sense of your struggles looking at the finished product but I appreciate your professionalism when it comes to getting these done so well.

Frank

André,
I admire your consistency - and your work, of course. I would love to see all these images transformed into an animation showing your observations over a period of time - I'm not sure how you would go about that though, but it would be awesome to see and a great reward for your commitment.
Regards
Sean

Sean.

Thank you so much sir. Michel has already did a time lapse few time ago. He took my entire sketches of the month, reoriented them and did a time lapse. If I can get a better weather, I would like to do a real time lapse of a prom.

Yesterday april 9th, I thought I would be able to sketch the entire sun in the small break in the clouds, but unfortunately I had only time to do the proms all around and the main sunspots, but no time at all to do the surface details. There is so much surface details. I as it's not fully completed, I decided not to post it.

Andre.

Andre,
We were thinking you would be sketching all the action on the Sun. I had my daughters out looking at the sunspots. It was a very active day.

Allo Emma. You are so cute, a blondy girl. I love so much your pink pants because even if I'm a man, I like pink color.

Thank you so much to let me see my youngest admirator.

Andre

Andre,
Emma is off to the right. Here is a picture with both. Juliet in the pink pants is my little one 2 years old and likes to look at the sunspots with Emma's little reflector.

How stupid am I... So sorry Emma for this confusion but you had to be in the picture, not hidding apart. Its funny, because I let my wife looking at the first picture and she didn't either told me this girl is much too young for six years old... You see Emma, I'm much better drawing the sun than guessing the age of young girl.

Sorry Ken.

Andre

No Problem. I wasn't a big deal. Emma is looking forward to seeing another sketch. I was showing them both the sunspots. AR1711 looked very big even in my sun funnel.

Hope you get a nice sunny day,

Ken
